HARVEST MOON GALLERY PRESENTS

Harvest Moon Gallery Presents an exhibition of Marie Saretsky's everlasting floral arrangements and handmade paper creations.

Thursday September 2nd - Monday October 11th. Opening reception Sunday September 12th., 2pm - 5pm. The artist will be in Attendance.

Marie Saretsky's love of flowers has grown into an art. With her garden of everlasting flowers as her palette, she has been designing floral arrangements since 1991. As her garden expanded, she became enthralled with the texture of the natural fibres, and focused her efforts on processing them into paper.
Through extensive experimentation with floral design, composition, and varieties of handmade paper, Marie's craft evolved into her most recent work. Her plates, mirrors, vases, arrangements, and other designs merge the two mediums-paper-making and floral design-into unique mixed-media creations.
Marie is a juried member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council. A devoted horticulturist, she is frequently asked to speak on her art, and offers workshops in floral design, paper-making, and intuitive gardening.
